I've used them on grizzle yes and rhino for years.
do you have the dimensions by chance?

cargo box

Did anyone get a cargo box from Yamaha yet. I haven't seen much about them. Rocky mountain advertises a portion of the box can be used as a cooler if you don't mount a second battery. Can anyone tell me how good it would work as a cooler?

I have the cargo box. the battery box can be used as a cooler. Not sure how well it will insulate but it does have drain plugs. The over all quality of the box is good. Paid 225 and it's worth it

I ordered one but it just back backordered by another month. Anyone know of a business that has one in stock with reasonable shipping?

Check out Wal-Mart and find a box similar to Yamajohn's. You can drill a hole in it for draining.
From the picture, it looks like a sort of toolbox.

I stopped by the dealer today and they told me the item was backordered for them as well. They did tell me Yamaha has been sending them items for the YXZ for their stock but really never ordered anything. As I was sitting there UPS dropped one off at the dealership. Charged $220 and the fit and finish is great. I am glad I stopped by. Installation was beyond simple. Removed 5 bolts, set the box on and put the five bolts back in.

It's possible that some dealers list their stock online whether that's just a public message on Facebook or some online shopping cart.

You seem to have the best of luck with OEM parts.

At least now we know who to look towards when it comes to someone being one of the first to get parts!
