Can you negotiate a discount on the YXZ?

I was wondering if you guys are planning to negotiate down the price of the YXZ. Any chance that its possible to get under MSRP, or is that not going to happen because the YXZ is so popular or just because these types of vehicles don't really get discounted through negotiation?

Any info would be really helpful, thanks.

You can negotiate the price of UTVs but I highly doubt you can do it for the Yamaha YXZ just because it's a new release. How long are you willing to wait?

At the opposite end, how many people are seeing dealers charge over MSRP because of high demand?

I'm willing to wait a while. The winter is coming and I won't be out and about much in the cold. So about 6 months to 9 months.

I'm sure people will be buying around Christmas, but in that lull between Christmas and warm weather that might be a good time to try to get a discount.

So spring may be a good time to get a discount on the YXZ?

That's the strategy I am going to go with. Late winter early spring. It's not like I'd be able to use it much this year before the weather gets cold anyway.

Keeping an eye on the forums will be helpful in letting you know the speed with which things are moving at and let you know when to make your move, You might even hear of folks that are getting good deals.

Keep an eye out!

I suppose the best thread for that so far would be the deposit thread. I'll be sure to keep following that one.
