2016 Yamaha YXZ Pricing Info

So lets assume that Yamaha is fully committed to taking a big chunk of Polaris' pie.

Where do we think they price the YXZ?

They could go on par with the RZR S 900 and beat it with content... or they could go midway between the RZR S 900 and RZR S 1000 hoping to beat the 900 on content and undercut the 1000...

Then again the YXZ with 112 hp on tap produces similar power to the RZR XP 1000 EPS...

I so think $20K is too much for the Yam... I like somewhere in the $15-$18K range.

Thoughts?

Thinking about it, that $15k-18k range is a smart play since its enough for guys to justify going YXZ and pocketing that dough or using it on accessories, of course for the bang for your buck crowd... just not for polaris loyalists.

The YXZ will probably be around 18k because it's specs are closer to the RZRŪ S 1000 EPS than the XP.
Not sure about the width but we'll most likely hear more about it tomorrow because that is when Yamaha will be unveiling the YXZ.

Polaris and Yamaha price competitively, but I think that Polaris tends to price a bit higher than Yamaha usually. Isn't that right?

Not quite sure about that. We'll have to find 2 similar UTV models and compare the prices.

My buddy at the dealer told me he's heard probably around $18K for YXZ EPS base and about $20K (maybe a bit more) for the EPS SE...depends on the content they put into the SE...

The YXZ1000R starts at $21,599 so it's a bit above our estimated number. I may have to ponder a bit more about purchasing the YXZ.
