MPI Turbo and alternator

Have been told by dealer that turbo and alternator will not fit together. Must use 2nd battery instead. Anyone got both ?

I'm running a 20" Rigid industries single row light bar and warn 3000 winch without alternator or 2nd battery without any problems (so far) if I were to add anymore I'll go with the 2nd battery...as for turbo alternator combo I don't know but sounds right that alt looks like it takes some room

Good call on the battery, plus with batteries, out of the whole electrical system they are the one most likely to go and at times with little warning.

I run the 27" Yamaha light bar, the stator cranks out 13.9v at idle under load at night, with the light bar on and high beams. A big amp drawing stereo and sub-woofer might over draw the power produced, but I'd look to add a full size AGM off-road battery and isolating switch somewhere instead of the alternator. That's what I do in my boat, we park and crank the tunes for hours, and we're never stranded due to a dead battery.
